Conrad House- Dublin
DESCRIPTION
A narrow space on a wooded plot. This project posed the challenge of how to transition from the rigid architecture to the heavily wooded surroundings, with significant restrictions to the property line.
WHERE
Dublin

It was decided to create vignettes from the three primary access points of the residence, as a large open area was out of the question due to property line restrictions. The offset and staggered lines of the structural components, whilst conforming to the rigidity of the architecture, also fragment those lines, to better blend into the informal surroundings.
